Many of Chelsea FC Women’s players are already on international break and suiting up for their home countries. The Blues’ newest signing, Guro Reiten, suited up for Norway in a match against Belarus. It was a 7-1 drubbing by the Norwegians even though Belarus scored in the 18th minute, and it took 18 more for the Scandinavians to equalize.
None of that is too important though, BECAUSE GURO REITEN DID THIS IN THE 60th MINUTE.

I...? I mean like...? WHAT!?
Guro is one of the most fun players to watch because she’s so carefree as an attacker. There’s no better encapsulation of that than this improvised scorpion chip volley thing she pulled off. After you’re done gawking at it for as many loops as it takes to bring you back to reality, an underrated part to notice is how she held her plant leg steady while waiting to see if this ridiculousness actually worked. It did, and now we all know joy because of it.
So far Guro has three goals in all competitions (3 WSL, 1 FA WSL Cup) for Chelsea, and this is her third consecutive match for club or country in which she’s gotten on the scoresheet. Reiten and Norway will play Faroe Islands Tuesday, October 8 before she returns to Chelsea to take on last year’s title winners, Arsenal, Sunday, October 13 at Kingsmeadow.
More of this, please, Guro! More more more!
