AS Roma have only just recently entered the chase for Tammy Abraham, but according to Gianluca Di Marzio, they have already agreed financial terms with Chelsea over a potential deal.
In fact, all that’s needed now is Abraham’s approval, though that may not be forthcoming just yet from the 23-year-old who was still training with the Chelsea first-team on Monday, and has also been linked with Atalanta and Arsenal — the latter of which may appeal more to him personally, even if the Gunners have not made any overt moves for him yet.

Di Marzio claims that the potential deal is worth €40m, though the exact method and timing of payments is not yet finalized. It could be a straight up transfer, but more likely a loan for a season or two with a payment plan to turn that into a transfer in the meantime: €5m up front, then the remaining €35m over the next season or two to complete the transaction — similar to the deal we struck with Atlético Madrid for Álvaro Morata (2019) or the deal with Juventus for Juan Cuadrado (2015).
So, does Tammy Abraham want to play for José Mourinho? Decisions, decisions...
