It’s been a rather confusing 24-48 hours for Kurt Zouma’s transfer to West Ham United, with various reports calling it off, then on, then off again, and then on again, in addition to multiple bits of speculation about things going wrong medically, financially, cosmically, but it looks like we’re on the right track now.
TF1’s Julian Maynard reports that the 26-year-old center back has passed his medical check-up at West Ham — and not in Paris, which visit as it turns out, was a personal matter that needed attention — and that the transfer is set to go ahead. Presumably that fee is still set at €30m.

Both head coaches of the teams involved in this deal confirmed earlier today that things were still in progress, and while neither Thomas Tuchel nor David Moyes were able to actually confirm beyond that at the time, we are surely in the final stretch now.
Once the deal is complete, presumably we will be pushing the launch button on the bid for Jules Koundé, who has not traveled with Sevilla to Elche for their match tomorrow.
