Tammy Abraham looks set for what is likely to be his last Chelsea match for at least the foreseeable future, Wednesday night against Villarreal in the UEFA Super Cup, with the 23-year-old expected to make a decision on his future before the end of this week.
That decision is likely to be an agreement to join AS Roma in a deal reportedly worth around €40m (in some complicated financial arrangement). Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Abraham has been in “contact” with new Roma head coach José Mourinho and is happy with the interest from the legendary former Chelsea manager. Yes, the power of the Mourinho Phone Call may yet be a thing!

According to the report, Abraham has asked for two more days to make up his mind, in part to be able to partake in the Super Cup (presumably he’ll get to play) and in part to see if Arsenal ever get their act together.
But it sure seems like Tammy’s own his way to the Italian capital (with Edin Dzeko going to Inter at the same time) and get immersed in the Mourinho Method, which could be a great move for him.

Dzeko will sign until June 2023. AS Roma and Arsenal have asked for Abraham - no agreement with Chelsea yet.
