Erling Haaland joins Borussia Dortmund training, ignores Chelsea speculation

Oh, actually, here he is, training with Borussia Dortmund, as one would expect of a player set to stay with the team. No holdout drama here, after all!

And the transfer rumor mill wept...

Haaland had missed the first two days of preseason training, including Dortmund’s first preseason match, but neither the current nor the future BVB sporting directors were worried, and likely with good reason. The club have maintained all along that they’re not letting the freakishly good striker leave this summer, even if they might get much less in return for him next summer, when his reported €75m release clauses kicks in.

Haaland himself doesn’t appear to be pushing to leave — despite his agent clearly keeping the rumor mill’s wheel turning and churning — and hilariously ignored some journalists this morning, including the always annoying Christian Falk. True.
