AC Milan, Napoli also keeping tabs on Hakim Ziyech situation at Chelsea — reports

Hakim Ziyech’s first season at Chelsea wasn’t quite as magical as his Wizard of AMS nickname would’ve led us to believe and expect, though the 28-year-old still popped up with some key contributions, including in our run to both the FA Cup and the Champions League finals.

Ziyech’s worst season as a professional in terms of production has led to some growing speculation that he might be leaving the club after just one year. While that sounds rather far-fetched still, media speculation in Italy is also growing, with busy bees AC Milan and Napoli supposedly keeping an eye on things, and perhaps making some overtures as well. Ziyech, for his part, is said to prefer AC Milan.

As usual, none of the rumors expect either team to actually make a transfer bid for Ziyech, but they would happily take him on loan if we needed to make room in the squad, so there’s that I guess.
