AC Milan, Chelsea still working on Oliver Giroud deal ... and Hakim Ziyech, too?

AC Milan have already signed Fikayo Tomori, but their transfer business with Chelsea this summer may not be done yet.

Despite signing a new contract at Chelsea, Olivier Giroud still looks to be on his way, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting last week that the Rossoneri have agreed personal terms with the veteran striker over a two-year contract. Now, they are just waiting for the “green light” from Chelsea — though it’s unclear if said green light will include a transfer fee (£3m maybe?). Should the light never turn green however, Milan would look to sign Real Madrid’s Luka Jović on loan, as Gazzetta dello Sport and Diario AS note.

But that still might not be the last Chelsea deal for Milan. Hakim Ziyech was also linked recently, and that story is back and with more conviction. Ziyech is supposedly Milan’s first-choice replacement for Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who crossed the great and treacherous divide to sign with archrivals Inter last week. Gazzetta dello Sport and Alfredo Pedulla both claim that Ziyech is not averse to changing clubs once again this summer after a less than great first season at Chelsea, but expect any such deal to be complicated — as always.

A loan with an option to buy? You don’t say! (See also: Tiémoué Bakayoko.)
