Agent confirms Achraf Hakimi ‘is leaving’ Inter Milan

But where is he going?

Achraf Hakimi looks to be the one big name player leaving Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan this summer, as they look to put the club on more solid financial footing than recent years.

That means no Romelu Lukaku for Chelsea, but it’s not necessarily all bad news as we’ve also been linked with Hakimi himself — initially just competition for PSG, but recent rumors have put Chelsea in more serious contention as well for the speedy wing-back.

While that’s probably all part of the same game, there is some time pressure here as well as Inter need said money before the end of the fiscal year and the end of the month. To that effect, Hakimi’s agent has just about confirmed that Hakimi is leaving — and is the only one leaving. But where he might go, that’s another question...

“The only one who is going to leave Inter for now is Hakimi, who I also represent. [With Lautaro] there is still no clear situation. [But Hakimi] he is going.”

I guess we’ll find out soon enough if our interest is just paper talk or actually something real.
