The will-he, won’t-he saga of Callum Hudson-Odoi continues, with the latest reports swinging the pendulum back towards common sense, and away from speculation.
As per the Evening Standard, which follows similar reports from a couple weeks ago, Hudson-Odoi isn’t looking to leave Chelsea and is in fact wanting to stay and fight for his place in the team.
Recent rumors claimed that Bayern Munich were ready to resurrect their interest for the manyeth time, and that Chelsea might even be willing to consider an offer — provided that said offer was of course better than the £35m we rejected a couple windows ago, before Hudson-Odoi had even signed his long-term contract. Less serious rumors earlier had also linked the 20-year-old with Borussia Dortmund and even Tottenham Hotspur. Silly Season truly has no shame.
As at Bayern, Hudson-Odoi will have his work out in the battle for minutes with a talented and young group of forwards. But he’s certainly good enough to do so, and as one of our own, we can only hope that he will.
Callum Hudson-Odoi wants to stay at Chelsea this summer and work his way into Tuchel's starting XI next season. #CFC https://t.co/srCiQAopxc
