Inter Milan are expected to put up quite a fight to keep their talismanic striker, Romelu Lukaku, and the latest report along those lines, from Italian news agency ANSA (via FC Inter 1908) says that the Nerazzurri will reject any incoming bids while informing the Blues that Lukaku is not for sale. Then again, Gazzetta dello Sport claim that a bid of €120m would soften Inter’s stance however.
Various outlets have noted that Lukaku is Chelsea’s most realistic centre forward target, which shows just how difficult it will be for us to properly reinforce the position this summer, despite being arguably our most glaring need.
Inter already lost Antonio Conte. The fans didn’t take that departure well. What would the reaction be if they lost their most influential player too? At the moment the club’s stance is that Romelu Lukaku is not for sale. Interesting weeks / months ahead. #cfc pic.twitter.com/bAdOLFZ7Ds

Speaking of unrealistic targets, Harry Kane has, as per the Times, informed Tottenham Hotspur that despite his respect for Mauricio Pochettino, he is still intent on leaving this summer, even if the former head coach returns.
As reported earlier, Kane prefers a move to Manchester City, while Gabriel Jesus and Nathan Aké could be used as makeweights in a deal (ed.note: Nathan, don’t do it!). City’s local rivals, Manchester United are out already and will instead focus on signing Erling Braut Haaland in 2022, as per the Daily Mail.
Harry Kane admires Mauricio Pochettino as a manager, but The Times understands that his return to Tottenham Hotspur would not tempt the striker to change his mind about leaving the club.
