Reports close to home claim that Callum Hudson-Odoi wants to stay and fight for his place going forward at Chelsea, and that Chelsea are on the same page as well, but that certainly won’t prevent others from poking around to see if there is any wavering in that resolve.
Front of that queue are unsurprisingly Bayern Munich, perennial suitors of the 20-year-old, with BILD (via Bavarian Football Works) claiming that “it’s possible” that Bayern would again try to sway the Chelsea Academy star, perhaps starting with a loan move — which is something they believe Chelsea would be open to. (LOL!)
Bayern could also entice new signings by the prospect of getting to work with incoming new manager Julian Nagelsmann, though if the Daily Mail’s to be believed, it’s Borussia Dortmund who might actually fancy their CHO-chances. With Chelsea supposedly interested in Jadon Sancho, some sort of exchange arrangement could be on the cards. Or at least could make for a rumor.
Welcome to Silly Season.
