Fikayo Tomori
AC Milan have yet to exercise their buy-option for Fikayo Tomori, but having officially qualified for next season’s Champions League, that’s surely just a matter of time.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta dello Sport, Tomori’s signing is a priority for the Rossoneri — though they have once again inquired regarding the a discount for the 23-year-old. Once again, they have received an answer in the negative. That’s all part of the dance of course. As per Corriere Dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Milan do not actually need a discounted fee, but were actually just trying their luck. The €28m is said to be ‘within reach’, especially with the Champions League funds rolling in.
Meanwhile, Chelsea appear to be quite relaxed about the situation. If Milan do not sign Tomori, there should be plenty of other interest in him — some perhaps even back at Chelsea?

Matt Miazga
USA international Matt Miazga has previously spoken of his desire to stay at RSC Anderlecht on a permanent basis, and according to HLN, a deal is in the realm of possibility. Miazga’s performances this season have impressed the Anderlecht hierarchy, and they are hopeful that they can hold on to the 25-year-old.
Sambi Lokonga staat op vertrekken: #RSCA houdt ernstig rekening met een vertrek. Wat betreft Nmecha en Miazga is er hoop om het duo te houden. Abdou Diaby blijft niet, Ashimeru wellicht wel.

Raphael Varane
Varane is all but certain to leave Real Madrid this summer, with Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG the prime contenders for his signature. Varane’s contract expires in 2022 and he desires to play in the Premier League, but according to Marca, Los Blancos instead want to use him as a makeweight to bring Kylian Mbappé to the Santiago Bernabeu.
PSG are proving to be difficult negotiators, and Real hope that the Parisians’ interest in Varane can be leveraged to sign Mbappe, whose contract also runs till 2022. Varane is seemingly willing to wait another year to leave as a free agent, but the La Liga side won’t let that happen, and wish to sell the World Cup winner for €70m.
As for Varane himself, he’s taking his sweet time before making a final decision.
“This is not the time to talk about my future, I am focused on the selection, on this Euro, it is normal and logical to ask the question and for my part it is normal and logical to focus on the upcoming deadlines.”
“We are all human beings. We can think about it. As for my personal case, I am focused on the objectives that we have in the France team, it is not a subject that I will discuss every day in my room at Clairefontaine.”
“I am focused on my goal, and now is not the time to discuss it. If I have to talk about it, it will be directly with the people concerned.”
