Manchester United seem to be frontrunners in the race to sign Jadon Sancho, with earlier reports claiming that they want to complete his signing before this summer’s European Championships.
As per Sky Deutschland (via Sport Witness), United are looking for a swift resolution to a deal that could reach €100m all told. And according to Sport1, United have already started talks with the player’s representatives, though have yet to approach Borussia Dortmund themselves. ESPN go one step further than that even, claiming that since United already agreed personal terms last year, they are very confident in doing so once again, and this time being able to see the deal through to its conclusion.
#BVB - Manchester United are still in pole position to sign Jadon Sancho this summer. There are talks between his agents and #MUFC but no official negotiations yet between the clubs, sources telling us. No official offer so far. Dortmund wants €85-90m for the DFB cup hero ⚫️

Sancho has been in stupendous form of late, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists in his last 3 appearances for Dortmund. With Chelsea’s goal-scoring and creativity issues laid bare in our FA Cup final defeat against Leicester City, we could certainly do worse than signing the mercurial winger.
And we should probably do all we can to bring him to Stamford Bridge in fact, especially as Erling Haaland looks even more unlikely to leave now, after BVB confirmed their qualification for next season’s Champions League with a 3-1 win over Mainz this weekend.
Borussia Dortmund are qualified to the next Champions League. The club will now fight to keep Erling Haaland for one more season. “I’m sure that he’s staying”, CEO Watzke said. ⚫️

Jadon Sancho’s situation is different: he could leave if an important bid arrives. #BVB
