Despite the interest of Bayern Munich, Jadon Sancho is prioritizing a return to England as per BILD (via Sport Witness). Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been touted as potential candidates for a big-money transfer to bring him home, but United appear to be leading the race (again).
According to BILD, the Red Devils are planning to make a move for Sancho now that they have re-signed Edinson Cavani, and want to get a deal done ahead of the European Championships. They are set to meet Borussia Dortmund’s asking price and offer €90m for the 21-year-old. BVB are apparently looking at PSV Eindhoven’s Donyell Malen as a replacement, as per Sport1.

Liverpool are unlikely to be able to afford Sancho, unless Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mané were to depart, and that would leave only Chelsea as United’s competitors in the race. Provided our interest is genuine, we need to act fast if we want to prevent the mercurial winger from playing for a domestic rival.

Manchester United still going for him.
Liverpool/ Klopp also very keen on the player, but have to sell either Salah or Mané to have the necessary money for Sancho’s fee
Meanwhile, Sancho’s current teammate Erling Braut Haaland looks increasingly unlikely to depart in the upcoming transfer window and not just because BVB look set to finish in the Bundesliga top four after all.
According to Marca, the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic will see another decrease in overall spending this summer, and thus no one will apparently be able to meet Haaland’s €150m+ asking price, not even with Mino Raiola pulling the strings.
Instead, all interested parties will be looking to hold out for the summer of 2022 when Haaland’s €75m-€100m release clause becomes active.
