Despite all the rumors already surrounding Erling Braut Haaland’s future, Borussia Dortmund have understandably maintained a strong (public) stance of holding on to him.
BVB CEO, Michael Zorc reiterated that intention once again in his latest comments.
“We have made our position clear on the Haaland case. The decision will not be made without Borussia Dortmund. No matter where we end up, Erling will continue to play for us.”

That said, Dortmund are certainly aware and wary of Haaland’s desire to play in the Champions League next season (and every season), and have already looked at contingency plans, such as Sasa Kalajdzic or Jordan Larsson. The latest to join that list is Eintracht Frankfurt’s Andre Silva, as per Sport BILD. The Portugal international is expected to be leave the club at the end of the season, with a host of European clubs interested in him.
