In a most obvious update on a most obvious non-story, the silliness that was the suggested deal of Chelsea swapping Christian Pulisic with Bayern Munich for Kingsley Coman has been debunked by multiple sources.
According to both Fabrizio Romano and the Athletic, Chelsea (obviously) still have huge belief in Pulisic’s abilities and will not let him leave under any circumstances. He is considered to be a major part of our future, and the club will reject any loan or transfer bids for him.
Meanwhile, Bayern will also reject any approaches made for Coman, as per BILD (via Metro), and are said to be optimistic about reaching terms over a contract extension after their initial offer was rejected, as most initial offers tends to be.
Christian Pulisic has always been respectful with Chelsea - great professional. There’s interest from top clubs in case he’ll leave, normal for this kind of talent. But Pulisic is still fighting for Chelsea... and nothing will be decided before June. #CFC

Pulisic has been surprisingly underutilized by Thomas Tuchel thus far, with the new head coach putting that down to just bad luck.
Of course, the 22-year-old is unlikely to be happy with such explanations, but is said to be handling the situation with the expected level of professionalism, and is fighting to establish himself in the team. He did start our last game, in a mixed performance against Leeds United as Tuchel rotated his attack once again, but certainly this is not the time to be making any major career decisions.

Those close to him find it hard to accept he's just a super sub

P.S.: BILD’s report also claims that Bayern Munich will not let Niklas Süle leave, and are also working on extending his contract beyond 2022. Surprise! (Not.)
