David Alaba will be a free agent this summer, which makes him one of the most enticing signings for the upcoming transfer window. Most of Europe’s biggest clubs are obviously interested in his services, with Real Madrid reportedly the favorites and Chelsea in the running as well.
PSG were also reported to be interested a few months ago, and while there hasn’t been much chatter about them recently, it appears that they have been working silently in the background to try to get a deal done.
According to RMC Sport, Le Parisien and Sky Germany (via Bavarian Football Works), PSG have in fact sent a formal offer to Alaba’s camp, with the 28-year-old then personally holding talks with the Ligue 1 side.

Alaba has been seemingly against a move to France in the past, but is now reportedly listening to PSG’s offer with an open mind (ed.note: and a smiling wallet) with more talks scheduled for the coming days.
If Chelsea are still trying to persuade Alaba to be part of Thomas Tuchel’s exciting project in London, that task will only get more difficult as more suitors enter the picture.
