Long-time Chelsea Loan Army warrior Lucas Piazon is reportedly being recalled from his latest loan spell, at Rio Ave in the Portuguese first division, with a view towards a permanent move this month.
And according to Diario Record, that new destination is also in Portugal. Piazon is expected to sign a 4-year contract with SC Braga, and an announcement is expected soon. The 26-year-old’s good performances in Rio Ave colors in the Primeira Liga have not gone unnoticed, and now he will get the opportunity to join up with one of the bigger non-big-three clubs in Portuguese football, who are sitting in fourth place at the moment. Piazon had made 36 appearances for Rio Ave over the past year and a half, scoring six goals.

Piazon, who first joined as a 17-year-old, has six months left on his current and probably final contract with Chelsea.
While we will not recoup the €7.5m that we paid in 2012, it’s probably in the best interest for everyone involved if the “Next Kaká” finally finds some stability in his career.
