With or without Chelsea signing a million players (not at all an exaggeration), including the likes of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, certain out of favour players will surely leave the club this summer, either on loan or permanently.
Michy Batshuayi is one such player, and according to a report from the Mail, he will go on loan to Crystal Palace. Of course, this would only happen if Batshuayi signs a contract extension since he only has a year left on his current deal — and he seems to be doing precisely that!

That may make for a good headline, but it’s just good business. Losing Batshuayi for free would not be financially advisable. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of interest in him at the moment, so with a good season on loan, he could create some attention and help us recoup some of our original £33m investment.
If this is true, it does kill the possibility of Conor Gallagher joining Palace — no more than one allowed between two Premier League teams — so he would have to find another loan destination, preferably in the Premier League.
Hopefully this works out for all involved.
