Robert Kenedy Nunes Nascimento, or just Kenedy if you’re not into whole un-brevity thing, played 20 times in his debut season at Chelsea as a practically unknown 19-year-old from Brazil. Since then, he’s had almost as many loans (4), as additional appearances (7) for the club.
And here comes loan number five: Kenedy will spend next season in lovely, scenic, and historic Granada.

The 24-year-old versatile winger and wing-back spent last season in La Liga as well, helping Getafe finish in the top half of the table and even reach the second knockout round of the Europa Leauge, dispatching Hakim Ziyech’s Ajax in the process in the Round of 32.
Kenedy made 27 appearances for Getafe, although he amassed less than a thousand minutes in them. Previously, he had spent 18 mostly productive months at Newcastle, but not productive enough for a transfer evidently.
Kenedy has two years left on his Chelsea contract, so hopefully we can find him a more stable situation in the next 12 months or so.
