According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via Inside Futbol), Juventus have joined Chelsea in tracking Real Madrid full back Achraf Hakimi, who is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
Both clubs have in their favour Hakimi’s contractual situation with Real Madrid, where his deal is ending in 2022. With only two years left and no definition on whether he would be a part of their first-team anytime soon, he could very well end up being available in the next transfer market.
Hakimi has been at Real since the age of 8, and he’s found success on loan at Borussia Dortmund in the past two seasons. Now 21, he has featured regularly for BVB since 2018, as both a full back and a wing-back, and on both flanks, even. That sort of versatility is hard to find. Throw in a few goals, 3, and several assists, 10, and it’s easy to see why Chelsea — and others — would be interested in the speedster.
