According to multiple reports, including the Mail, the Guardian, Goal, ESPN, Sky, etc, etc, etc, Chelsea have rejected a loan bid from Bayern Munich for Callum Hudson-Odoi. Bayern’s bid did contain an option (not an obligation) to make the move permanent for £70m, but that was never likely to sway Chelsea.
There’s still no agreement between Chelsea and Bayern Münich for Callum Hudson-Odoi. Lampard wants to keep him. #CFC board won’t accept a loan with buy option, but only an “important bid” on a permanent deal [obligation to buy]. #Chelsea #Bayern @JacobSteinberg

The bid is the logical conclusion from the rumors of the last several days, with Bayern trying to turn the 19-year-old’s head for the third time in 18 months. Of course, even when they were successful in that regard, back in January 2019, prompting Hudson-Odoi to submit a transfer request, Chelsea stood firm on our resolve to keep one of the jewels of the Academy.
Since then, Hudson-Odoi has carved out an important role at the club, first under Sarri and now under Lampard, and the only thing that has interrupted that trajectory was the unfortunate Achilles injury. But he looks fully recovered from that — case in point: beating his man for pace with a Willian-esque quick step early today — and has four years left on the long-term contract he signed last summer, so there’s absolutely no reason for Chelsea to sell ... as long as Callum doesn’t start making a scene, which doesn’t look likely to happen.
Bayern will probably make another play before Monday’s deadline, but we just have keep our resolve.

"I didn't start him with a political view on it.....I don't know about those rumours.... I'll shut them down right now... No....no..he's not going"
Will they be able to keep him?
