Tiémoué Bakayoko has been (re-)joining AC Milan on loan for seemingly forever, but the longer that drags out — and it’s been quite long already! — the less likely it seems that he’ll actually end up joining.
Recent reported interest from hometown giants Paris Saint-Germain (with ex-Milan sporting director Leonardo in charge) might come into play in the final few days of the transfer window, but if reports yesterday are any indication, we might have more strong interest from Italy, though a bit further south.

According to both Alfredo “HOT DAYS” Pedullà and Gianluca “OG Transfer Oracle” Di Marzio, Napoli have entered the chat and are not wasting any time in making their intentions known. It’s all hypotheticals at this point of course, but Pedullà claims that Bakayoko is “giving priority” to this option while Di Marzio adds that Bakayoko would “gladly embrace” the possibility, especially as Napoli are currently managed by Gennaro Gattuso, who was Milan boss the season Bakayoko was there. They had their difficulties, but eventually developed a very good working relationship.
So, PSG, Milan, Hertha Berlin (who are mentioned in passing by Pedullà), or Napoli? We’re unlikely to get anything more than a loan with a buy-option, but at this point, it’s the best we can probably do.
Let’s get it done.
