One Chelsea player’s reunion with Antonio Conte looks to be happening, but another’s has hit yet another snag.
Victor Moses made a surprise appearance on a picture of a team meal posted by Inter (and ex-Chelsea!) striker-turned-ITK-Twitterer Romelu Lukaku on Wednesday night. Oopsies!

Then again, this deal had been rumored for a while and looked to be making solid progress, so it’s hardly a surprise. Moses was already spied leaving his presumably successful medical on Tuesday, after all.
The deal will reportedly take the form of a 6-month loan with a €10m option to buy at the end of the season.

But Chelsea’s other deal with Inter Milan seems to have hit a snag once again.
Terms may have already been agreed with both Giroud and Chelsea, but Inter are still trying to clear out Matteo Politano. The backup forward was set to be traded to AS Roman for Leonardo Spinazzola, but that fell through at the last minute. Now, Politano is apparently working on a deal with Napoli, but it could be yet another swap, with long-rumoured Conte target Fernando Llorente going the other way. And if Llorente goes, then Conte won’t need Giroud anymore.
Inter are in advanced talks for Matteo Politano to Napoli (€25M) and Fernando Llorente can become part of the swap deal. Inter are considering Llorente as striker on loan - if they’ll sign him, no more Olivier Giroud. #CFC #Inter #transfers

Then again, with the extent of Tammy Abraham’s injury still undiagnosed — we’re still just hoping for the best — and Batshuayi firing blanks, Giroud could yet re-enter the conversation at Chelsea, even.
Not the end result we would had liked but we have to keep going & fighting! Thanks for the support & messages. Hopefully my injury isn’t too bad #CFC
