Josh Grant, who had joined fourth division (League Two) Plymouth Argyle in the summer for a 6-month loan stint has, ten days later, re-joined the Pilgrims until the end of the season. Although Josh is 21 years old, he is a relatively newer member of Chelsea’s Loan Army. His only previous experience was with Yeovil Town for a half-season last year, and he made only eight League Two appearances for them.

This season, Josh has already made 22 appearances and while he is not the undisputed starter there, he has earned rave reviews. which point to a bright future for the youngster. Plymouth are currently 5th in League Two, and Grant staying with them for the rest of the season will certainly boost their promotion chances.

Plymouth’s official statement also talks about the intention of turning Grant’s loan into a permanent move in the summer, which could serve as the platform from which to build his career and aim for playing in a better league in the future.

Good luck, Josh!
