Decisive Sarri summit expected today, final agreement to follow — report

HOT DAYS

Sarri whisperer Alfredo Pedulla has been a bit quieter than normal lately, which mirrors the quietude of situation surrounding the (outgoing) Chelsea head coach as Juventus try to negotiate some sort of move with the Blues.

The major hang-up seems to around compensation, with Chelsea apparently insisting on cold hard cash and Juventus apparently looking to get creative with Emerson and/or the youngster Juan Familia-Castillo (whose name appeared on a torn-up piece of paper supposedly discarded by Juve director Fabio Paratici — no, I’m not making this up).

Pedulla’s report this morning continues to mention Emerson, but more importantly, he claims that a “very important summit” is happening today in Milan, “the decisive one” at the “heart of the negotiations”. Sounds like something out of Final Fantasy.

Assuming it all goes well, Sarri should be allowed to sign for Juventus this weekend.

Sounds like a heavy does of hot days incoming. Get that sunblock ready!
