According to a report from Goal, Championship club Bristol City are interested in signing Chelsea centre back Tomáš Kalas in an effort to boost their Premier League promotion prospects next season.
Bristol City targeting Tomas Kalas as part of their promotion bid next season. The 'longest serving Chelsea player'... https://t.co/G8H8GudJqm #CFC

Since the end of goalkeeper Matej Delač’s eight-year tenure at Chelsea last year, Kalas has become the longest-serving player on Chelsea’s books. The 26-year-old has been at Stamford Bridge since July 2010, with 4 first-team appearances his name in the nine years since.
Kalas was already at Bristol City last season, on loan from Chelsea, as they narrowly missed out on a spot in the Championship playoffs. He started 38 league matches, to mostly rave reviews. He has only two years left on his Chelsea contract, and he’s been eager to stop the loan cycle for several years now.
It is quite unlikely that he has any future at Chelsea and would certainly make for a nice permanent addition to Bristol City (possibly alongside fellow Chelsea loanee Jay Dasilva), especially if they were looking to make a serious push for promotion.
