Chelsea left back Emerson Palmieri has somehow gotten mixed up in Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus saga, even though unlike Jorginho or Gonzalo Higuaín, he has not prior history with the outbound Chelsea head coach. Juventus did have him on their radar however before he joined Chelsea 18 months ago, so perhaps that’s where all this is coming from.
Either way, Emerson has had to repeatedly field questions about his Chelsea future even though he has just worked his way into a first-team role ahead of Marcos Alonso. It was no different last night, after Italy’s 2-1 win over Bosnia, which saw the 24-year-old win his fourth cap for his adopted country.
Emerson’s response was no different than before either.
“I have a contract with Chelsea and I am happy there, especially after the Europa League [victory].
“At this time I haven’t received any offers. Everyone is saying [Allianz Stadium could be my new home] however I am very relaxed. I will continue to work hard and not focus on these things.
“Ask Chelsea or Juve.”

No offers to leave and no desire to leave.
Moving along.
