Chelsea have confirmed the agreement of terms with Belgian top flight club Cercle Bruges for the permanent transfer of Kylian Hazard, younger brother of Eden Hazard.

Kylian, the third Hazard brother after Eden and Thorgan, joined Chelsea from Hungarian side Újpest a couple seasons ago. He played all his games for Chelsea’s development squad before agreeing to a new two-year deal with the club. He left on loan to Cercle Bruges last summer, where his performances over 21 games, including 4 goals, have convinced the club to sign him permanently.

While the dream of seeing all three (or even two) Hazard brothers taking the pitch at the same time remains unfulfilled, we wish Kylian a successful future at Bruges and beyond.

Let’s hope the last remaining Hazard stays at Chelsea and signs a new contract!
