Chelsea continuing to monitor Tuchel as PSG chase Mourinho — reports

At most clubs, even at Chelsea, if you win the league title, you're invincible for at least a few short months. But PSG aren't most teams.

Apparently, Thomas Tuchel may be on his way out already, and several teams are thus monitoring his situation, Chelsea among them. That’s the story from RMC, which matches a similar report from Paris United from a few days ago.

To replace Tuchel, it would appear that PSG are going after none other than The Special One himself. The mega-rich Parisians would certainly be a great match for José, who could finally get them over their Champions League hurdle. Mourinho already has a working relationship with (and for) beIN Sports, who are closely associated with PSG.

As far as the Chelsea angle on this story, this is now the third summer in a row that Chelsea have been linked with Tuchel. Considering that we are on course to qualify for the Champions League and as such, would meet the minimum expectations for the season (and maybe with a European trophy to boot), giving Sarri the boot would be harsh as well ... but stranger things have happened. If Chelsea are indeed looking to move on from Sarri, the extremely versatile Tuchel would be one of the best options possibly available.
