Juventus have confirmed this morning that long-time head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who took over from Antonio Conte way back in 2014, will not be returning for a sixth season at the club. While that may be music to the ears of Conte himself, who’s looking for his next assignment after a year sabbatical / legal fighting with Chelsea, Chelsea’s current head coach is also in the mix.
That’s according to an “exclusive” from Alfredo “Hot Days” Pedulla, the Oracle of Sarri. Can hot-days magic strike in three consecutive transfer windows? Pedulla’s had his finger on the pulses of Jorginho, Sarri, and Higuain over the past twelve months.

Pedulla’s report runs through some of the biggest names for the Juventus vacancy (Guardiola, Klopp, Pochettino and makes no mention of Conte), but it’s the Sarri bit that interests us. Pedulla puts the probability of Sarri leaving Chelsea this summer at “over 70 per cent”, regardless of the Europa League final’s outcome. Unsurprising names such as Lampard and Nuno are put forward potential replacements at Chelsea.
While Sarri also “likes” AS Roma, The Oracle says Juventus are perfectly set up for Sarri’s 4-3-3 should they decide to “break with the past, in the name of the beautiful game”. Yes, Sarri-ball is what is meant by the “beautiful game”.
For now, the contacts have been “indirect” (but recent) owing to Chelsea’s commitments through the end of the month. But after that, it will be time to bust out the swim trunks, the shades, and the flippy-floppys. Hot Days incoming.
