Agent Kurt Zouma accomplished a great mission for Chelsea yesterday as one of the key figures in Everton’s 1-0 win over Arsenal at Goodison Park that blew the top four race wide open.
It was just the latest in a series of important performances for the Toffees by the Chelsea loanee, who has featured regularly since the start of the season. So much so, that he's gone from strictly using the loan to get better and win his (pre-ACL injury) place back at Chelsea, to being very much open to staying on Merseyside.
Everton manager Marco Silva had spoken repeatedly about potentially wanting to keep Zouma, though the player himself still does not know what the future holds.
“I don’t know yet [what will happen in the summer]. We have five more games to play and then we will see.”
“I am very happy. My aim was to come and play and improve myself and I think I have done here. I hope we will finish the season very high.”

Getting regular playing time, developing his skills and beating Arsenal is recipe for a grand old time. But he could, at least in theory, do all of these things here, too, especially if the transfer ban remains in place.
