Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has caught the attentions of three big European clubs, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus, but apparently all three were rebuffed when they enquired about his availability.

While Christensen has not been a first-choice centre-back since the end of last season, when Antonio Conte was still the head coach, he remains highly valued at the club. Chelsea seem to be making clear that he would not leave the club this season, be it via loan or permanent transfer.
This is however will undoubtedly revisited in the summer. Christensen’s main point of contention has been playing time, and that doesn't look like changing significantly anytime soon, especially if David Luiz signs his contract extension.
Christensen’s contract only runs out in June 2022. However, as youth players and parents get more disillusioned by how poorly Premier League clubs handle their prospects compared to teams in other leagues, Christensen could be the next high profile youngster to leave Chelsea a bit too soon...
