More loanees for the Loan Army! We’up to 34 now.
Chelsea have already announced Ike Ugbo’s move to Scunthorpe United in League One until January; now it’s Izzy Brown’s turn. He joins Championship hopefuls Leeds United until the end of the season.

Brown joins fellow Chelsea loanees Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman under Marcelo Bielsa at the Whites to make it the three maximum that any one club can loan from another.
Despite his young age, this will now be the fourth straight year that Brown’s out on loan, having spent a season at Vitesse, then six months at Rotherham, Huddersfield, and Brighton before a knee injury cut that last spell short in January. He’s been rehabilitating that injury at Cobham ever since, recently returning to running and training. Leeds expect him to be ready and contributing after the international break.
All-in-all, Brown’s made over 80 senior appearances already, plus 1 for Chelsea, so if he can stay healthy and show no ill effects from the knee injury, he should be a major contributor for Leeds’ promotion push. The Whites currently lead the division, with four wins and a draw from the first five matches (with 14 goals scored). They did lose in the League Cup 2nd round earlier this week however.
Good luck, Izzy!
