Michy Batshuayi, a.k.a. the Batsman, will be moving out of Stamford Bridge to join the Murciélagos, or Bats, of Spain in Valencia on a season-long loan deal.
Best of luck in Spain, @mbatshuayi! https://t.co/1U1fOZ8mqA

There was much hope that Michy would stay at Chelsea this season, as he returned from a very positive half-season loan stint at Borussia Dortmund and a third-place finish with Belgium at the World Cup. Instead, he will be moving to Estadio Mestalla.
There will surely be a lot of questions on whether this was the right move for Chelsea, as they clearly see value in Michy given how the loan does not have a buying option to make his temporary stay in Spain a permanent move. But it also makes it quite clear that the club and new coach Maurizio Sarri trust their centre-forward core, currently composed by Álvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud and youngster Tammy Abraham.
Nevertheless, good luck on this new flight, Michy! Hope to see you back in a Chelsea shirt!
