Kylian Mbappé covets N’Golo Kanté at PSG

And a perfect fit, he claims

N’Golo “I am at home” Kante isn’t going anywhere. He’s not interested in the rumors that PSG are stalking him. He listened to their offer two years ago, politely declined it (because that’s how he is) and elected to join Chelsea instead. He’s reconfirmed his commitment a month or so ago. He likes the Premier League, he likes the style of play and he likes Chelsea. Case closed.

That doesn’t stop people from talking, of course. For example, it’s a good thing €180m-man Kylian Mbappé isn’t in management or he’d be facing tapping up charges right about now. He’s publicly courting the best central midfielder in England, possibly the world. BeIN asked him who he wanted to add to PSG and out popped that name again.

“Kante, according to our needs and also the quality of the player. I think he’s a player that would suit our team perfectly.

”He is French, bring back a Frenchman for the attractiveness of our Championship, it would be good. I think all the French like N’Golo Kante, and it would be a pleasure to have him in our league.”

It’s Mbappé’s first season in Paris after coming over from Monaco, and he has 21 goals in 43 appearances and a second consecutive Ligue 1 title in his pocket. Most things are going his way. But not this thing.
