Bayern Munich were looking for a new head coach for next season. They are set with a surprise appointment in former player Niko Kovač, who barely has a track record to speak of. Good for them.

PSG are looking for a new head coach for next season. They are probably set with Thomas Tuchel, everyone seems to be agreeing. The former Borussia Dortmund coach has completely dropped out of the rumor mill over the last few weeks and surely all we’re waiting for now is the official announcement, which shouldn’t be too long since Unai Emery confirmed on Friday that he’s leaving.

Also leaving is Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger in a landscape shifting move. Possibly also leaving is Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte, which is a fairly standard development.

Over the past few weeks, Arsenal have been strongly linked with, among other names:

  1. Luis Enrique — confidently; less confidently; or not
  2. Maurizio Sarri — primary candidate!
  3. Leonardo Jardim — this morning’s report from France Football

Over the past few weeks and months, Chelsea have been strongly linked with, among other names:

  1. Luis Enrique — confidently; less confidently; or not
  2. Maurizio Sarri — primary candidate; maybe even a “swap” with Conte; or nothing at all
  3. Leonardo Jardim — considering

Does anyone actually know anything?

Nope.

Maybe Sky Italia do? They say Italy have reached an agreement with Mancini, who isn’t Conte. So there’s that.
