Chelsea have rejected Bayern’s £20m offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi, if Sky Sports is to believed. This is Bayern’s second bid for the young winger, having previously made a bid of around £13.5m, which was rejected as well.
Considering how the Blues have had three injuries in their attacking department in just the last week itself ruling out Pedro, Olivier Giroud as well as Hudson-Odoi himself, it makes sense that the Blues wouldn’t be looking forward to weakening their attack even further mid-season.

Unfortunately, the move hasn’t been completely ruled out yet as the report states that the Blues would be more willing to accept a bid closer to the £40m range. Of course, it could be just an asking price akin to the Alex Sandro case by Juventus where the Italian giants kept raising the price every time Chelsea matched their previous ask.
Whatever the case may be, letting go of any player mid-season is never a good idea, especially one with as much talent as Hudson-Odoi. Let’s strengthen our squad rather than weaken it, alright? Cool.
