Bayern to make £13 million offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi — report

Peanuts.

According to the Daily Mail, Bayern Munich are ready to turn their interest in Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi into a concrete bid, with a £13 million offer for his services.

Most recently, Bayern rivals Borussia Dortmund reportedly approached Chelsea with a swap deal offer for Christian Pulisic that was swiftly rejected by the Blues. The ideal scenario remains having both of those players at the club, as shown by our advances on making a deal for the American wonderkid.

Yet, Chelsea still have to consider the possibility of CHO leaving the club. If he does so in a permanent manner, Chelsea would be keen on including a buyback clause.

Presumably, we are also still interested in having the 18-year-old extend his tenure with the club by signing a new contract. His current one will expire in June 2020, and there has seemingly been no change in his reluctance to put pen to paper to a brand new deal. He is surely well aware that he holds all the cards over his future.

Nevertheless, £13 million is just a risible figure in today’s market. Better tell Bayern that they are not dealing with their neighbours...
