Over at France, Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele continues to impress with solid performances in midfield. By showing aptitude both in attack and in defence, he should to be one of the top players on many big clubs’ transfer shortlists, and those upcoming dollar signs make his agent, Duro Ivanisevic, quite happy.
“He is in great form and playing at a very high level. He is the classic box-to-box midfielder who can be the difference maker in attack and defence.”
In England, Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton, Manchester City and Tottenham have been listed as potential suitors for him. But the list does not end there, as there is also supposed interest from Spain (Barcelona and Real Madrid), Italy (Napoli and Juventus) and even France (PSG).
Basically, all the select few clubs who could afford the €80 million asking price, which may potentially be negotiable, but not if Lyon can generate a bidding war.
“You need to ask Lyon [about his valuation]. They are asking for €80 million, but that could go down and a compromise could be found.”
And so, there are plenty of options for Ndombele to choose from in the summer.
“Serie A is a league which could interest Ndombele. He won’t move in January but we will have a look in the future.”
