Dortmund eye Pulisic replacement ahead of his ‘probable’ Chelsea move — report

Fireworks at the ready

According to German newspaper Bild, Borussia Dortmund are already in the hunt for a potential Christian Pulisic substitute ahead of his ‘probable’ switch to Chelsea in the summer transfer window — at the latest.

One of the names they are looking at is Dynamo Kiev right winger Viktor Tsyhankov. The 21-year-old already has 9 goals and 3 assists in 18 Ukrainian Premier League games this season, and could fit Borussia’s method of buying low to sell high in the future. At the moment, his price tag is set at €20 million.

Nevertheless, the most interesting tidbit here is Bild admitting that Pulisic is likely moving to Chelsea in the summer. Although the latest reports on this front had Dortmund director Michael Zorc raining on our parade with regards to a winter switch, a summer move is still a possibility.

All in all, we can definitely wait a few more months to add Pulisic to the fold.
