With a contract set to expire in June 2020 and no extension in sight, Borussia Dortmund wonderboy Christian Pulisic is expected to leave the club in the coming months. He has been on the radar for some of the biggest Premier League clubs over the years already — with Chelsea and Liverpool particularly keen — and this stand-off is presumably just the opening act of a massive transfer saga.
But while Chelsea especially have been strongly linked with a January move, Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has reminded everyone once again that Pulisic isn’t going anywhere next month.
“We will not sell any important players in the winter, who are indispensable for our sporting goals. That’s a matter of fact. I strongly assume Christian will still be wearing the BVB jersey in February.”

Pulisic himself said last month that he will only decide on his future in the new year, keeping the rest of the world waiting and guessing. That said, a transfer with a built-in loan to see out the season would probably satisfy everyone’s requirements.
