According to French outlet L’Equipe, PSG have begun to (finally) accept the reality that their dream of snatching N’Golo Kante from Chelsea will remain just that, a pipe dream.
While covering some of the recent revelations from Football Leaks, L’Equipe addressed Kante’s situation, stating that due to issues like a huge transfer fee (over €80m), agent fees — totaling around 30 per cent last time — as well as Kante’s own disinterest in going back to France, PSG will not be able to pry the French midfielder away from Chelsea.

The report also makes it sound like PSG expect the 27-year-old midfielder to sign a new Chelsea contract, as extension talks ‘should end in the coming weeks’ and the new deal announced soon. This matches recent reporting in the English media, including Chelsea making Kante one of the highest paid players in Premier League, and until Eden Hazard signs his extension, the highest paid player at Chelsea, and deservedly so.
Here’s hoping that the renewal is indeed announced soon and that we can achieve the same for Eden Hazard’s contract as well. Sign them up!
