Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez was granted permission to leave the Algeria national team training camp yesterday to sort out his future on transfer deadline day, and apparently he subsequently spent last night at a London hotel.

Riyad Mahrez checked into a London hotel last night...Arsenal? Chelsea?

If that sounds a bit familiar, that’s because Mahrez spent a night at a hotel near Chelsea last year, too. Nothing came of it then, and so far, nothing’s coming of this now either. In fact, Mahrez might not even be in London anymore as there are rumors going around Twitter that he’s in Paris. (Then again, rumors on Twitter are perhaps a step too far even on transfer deadline day.)
I am hearing, as things stand, Chelsea are favs to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester

What does seem certain however is that despite all these rumors surrounding Mahrez’s future — Barcelona, Chelsea, Spurs, Manchester United (but not Arsenal) may or may not be interested — Leicester City have no received a bid for him in the last three weeks (since Roma’s £32m bid was rejected).
The club Riyad Mahrez has left the Algeria squad to sign for is... not Arsenal. #AFC are not in contention for the #LCFC winger #bbcfootball
