By the looks of things, Jeremie Boga's loan to Birmingham City on Monday is only the start of a hectic few days for Chelsea. Deals for Oxlade-Chamberlain and Drinkwater have reportedly been agreed, while negotiations continue for the likes of Barkely, Llorente, and even Diego Costa.
According to the Telegraph, as well as more dubious sources from Spain (again), Chelsea are finally close to wrapping a deal that will see Diego Costa finally move to Atlético Madrid, though there is still interest (potentially in form of short-term loans) from the likes of Marseille, Monaco, and even Everton. Though if Costa doesn’t like living in London, it’s doubtful he’d like living in Liverpool ... although it could be fun to see Costa take points off of our rivals while wearing the colors of Everton.

The rumors more or less match the figures first reported by Cadena Ser a couple weeks ago, and if Chelsea are able to eke out a deal around £40m with “significant” add-ons (as the Telegraph puts it), then the front office deserve all the plaudits.
Three days to go.
