Chelsea have a “real” possibility at competing for Paris Saint-Germain right back Serge Aurier’s transfer alongside Inter Milan, according to Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio. Manchester United have been strongly linked as well.

Chelsea were first linked with a move for Aurier just a few days ago, but are waiting for Aurier’s appeal to be decided before acting further. The right back hasn’t been allowed in England since last November after he was convicted of assault on a Paris police officer.

That didn’t stop Manchester United from coming to terms with Aurier, according to Paris United’s response to Di Marzio’s tweet. That Twitter account was on the money for Neymar's shock transfer, so they're riding high on the wings of that ITK reputation for mow.

Aurier’s current situation gives Chelsea the opportunity to potentially make a move for him at a decent price. The price range would be somewhere around £27m, and as we’ve seen from Manchester City’s spending on full backs, £27m would be a great price for a quality defender.
