In his weekend round-up of mostly known things in Chelsea’s transfer market status, the Telegraph’s Matt Law claims that Chelsea have decided to send young Ruben Loftus-Cheek out on loan next season. This is nothing new for the 21-year-old, who’s been rumored to be heading out for the last few summers only to stay in and around the Chelsea first-team instead, often being burdened at the same time with the expectations of being the next Academy graduate to “make it”.
A move for this summer has been rumored since at least the end of March, but now we have team names attached as well.
Chelsea have also decided that highly-rated midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be allowed out on loan this season, sparking interest from a number of Premier League clubs including Brighton and Newcastle.

Both Brighton and Newcastle were courting Tammy Abraham for much of June before the Chelsea youngster chose to join Swansea City instead (as yet unconfirmed). But neither of the two Premier League newcomers are giving up hope of a loan-boost from Chelsea, and if either of them could give some proper playing time to Loftus-Cheek, that would be most welcome.
