Over in Scotland, Brendan Rodgers’ invincibles easily won their 48th Scottish League Championship title with 34 wins and 4 draws from 38 games. Celtic made it a treble by winning the Scottish FA and League Cups as well. Leading their goalscoring charts with 32 in all competitions from 46 appearances was young striker Moussa Dembélé, who was linked in a £40m transfer with Chelsea in January.

Dembélé did the right thing then for his career and stayed, but after his excellent debut season in a league that he’s clearly far too good for, he’s unsurprisingly back in the rumor mill once again. According to the Daily Record, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, and AC Milan are all in the mix this time around.

A potential bid from the Blues surely depends on Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi's situation. Now that Atleti's transfer ban has been confirmed, the odds of Chelsea losing our main man are quite slim. Michy's status may be undecided, but spending another hefty sum on a young backup may not be the wisest course of action — especially if Tammy Abraham continues to develop as expected and impresses in his upcoming loan. The Record’s story rates Dembélé at £30m, with no reason given for the lower valuation than in January.

As impressive as the 20-year-old’s been this season, if he is to leave, he’s a lot more likely to leave for Germany, where (EDIT: probable) new BVB head coach Lucien Favre is a big fan and will have plenty of cash to spend thanks to the impending £60m switch of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Paris Saint Germain.
