According to Jamie Jackson of the Guardian, all three relevant parties have agreed on a transfer of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea to Manchester United. Even though United recently rubbished rumors of a verbal agreement they had supposedly reached with Matic, this new report claims that not only personal terms have been agreed, but that the two teams have agreed on the £40m sale price, which was the amount rumored from the beginning of these stories.
Manchester United set to sign Nemanja Matic from Chelsea for around £40m https://t.co/oK0uv54Gmt

This is a rather quick development considering that the rumors were only restarted in earnest over the weekend, but the move had been rumored since just about the beginning of the season, with no one really coming out to refute it.
The Guardian’s report claims that a medical is expected to follow in the coming days, though other reports are hinting that Matic’s sale is contingent on the arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko, and that’s not likely to happen until Chelsea’s (self-imposed?) July 1 day of rapture.
Either way, it looks like we just might be losing Matic, again, and this time probably for good. The £40m could soften this blow, but at first glance, this weakens the squad ahead of a busy campaign.
bit of both
