As Arsenal continue to provide near-endless entertainment for everyone except Arsenal fans, Alexis Sanchez looks closer and closer to leaving. His reaction to Crystal Palace’s second goal in Monday’s 3-0 trouncing of the Gunners just about sums his situation.

Chelsea have been linked for several months now, and we’ve heard several variations on that theme already, including Chelsea prioritizing Alexis in our plans for the summer and Alexis reciprocating by putting Chelsea at the top of his list as well.
Unless of course it’s Manchester City who are at the top of Alexis’s wishlist, which would see him reunited with Pep Guardiola who signed him from Udinese while at Barcelona back in 2011. Alexis and Pep ended up working together for only one season, after Chelsea’s 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp prompted a year-long sabbatical for the current City boss.

Goal doesn’t exactly enjoy the greatest reputation for things they claim to understand, so take all that for whatever you think it’s worth. Alexis himself said a couple weeks ago that he wanted to stay in London (but play for a winning team), which, as an unabashed fan of London itself, makes much more sense to me.
The upper echelon of the Premier League aren’t the only ones interested of course. PSG are always around, while a return to Serie A, to Juventus this time, is a possibility as well. Juventus (alongside Liverpool) were heavily involved in the Alexis rumor mill three years ago as well, but most reports agree that Alexis still isn’t too keen on a move to Turin. For their part, Juve are set to make Juan Cuadrado’s loan-in-all-but-name loan move a permanent transfer this summer anyway and are thus happy to stay out of Chelsea’s way as a favor (thus claim football.london, which remains the most ridiculously named football site ... and that’s coming from someplace called We Ain’t Got No History).
And there’s still the possibility of Alexis staying at Arsenal, which seems the silliest solution of all, but since it’s Arsenal, we probably shouldn’t discount it too much. After all, they just might give Arsene Wenger a two-year extension.
